Deborra (でぼるら, Deborura) and its variant forms, War Deborra and Master Deborra, are characters from the Valis series and a member of Rogles' army in the FM-77, PC-88/98 and Sharp X1 versions of Valis I.

Deborra was recruited by Rogles some time before the events of the first game.

She was sent by her lord to Tokyo along with Duzzdull to start an invasion to the Human world. Deborra was in charge of the city part and soon met Yuuko. They fought resulting with Deborra defeated in the train station. Although being defeated, Deborra reappeared once again in the entrance to Vecanti as War Deborra, fighting Yuuko and losing against her once more. Their final battle took place in Rogles's castle basement as Master Deborra. Yuuko defeated her and finally ended her life once and for all.

Not many details are given about Deborra's personality. She seems to be truly loyal to Rogles as many of his generals do. She also seems to be persistent as she fights Yuuko many times during the games until her death.

Deborra is a fast monster, capable of moving with a higher speed than many bosses, making her a good evader. In her second and third forms, she can also split in two and teleport places between her parts. In offensive terms, she can shoot energy balls from her hands at higher speeds in her next forms and attack with her claws.

Deborra only appears in the FM-77, PC-88/98 and Sharp X1 versions of Valis I as the boss from act 2, the town; act 5, the entrance of Vecanti (as War Deborra); and act 9, Rogles's castle basement (as Master Deborra).

  • Deborra's name could be a translation error of Debora (this is possible as all the versions of the game where she appeared are Japanese).
  • Deborra is one of the few bosses that is actually shorter than Yuuko in height.
  • Deborra is the only female boss in the entire series to have been fought more than one time.
